Introduction to S.C.O.P.E assessment

3-1

About S.C.O.P.E.

The case for organisational agility is compelling. However, as a deliberate and sustainable organisation-wide strategy and ongoing capability, agility is often inconsistently defined and unevenly executed. Conducting an open and honest assessment of how agile we are as an organisation today and how agile we need to be into the future is therefore an important first step into improving agility as a deliberate organisational strategy and capability. This is where the S.C.O.P.E. Organisational Agility Assessment tool and process can help.

S.C.O.P.E. is a research-based organisational assessment tool designed to help leaders advance organisational agility from being an aspired state to being a deliberate operational, cultural and consistently applied reality.

In the assessment questionnaire, respondents were asked to respond to a number of statements under each of the S.C.O.P.E. headings based on:
  • The extent they think that each statement is true today for the organisation and
  • How much a priority is this statement for the future success of the organisation

In this first level of feedback, S.C.O.P.E. provides you with your organisation’s overall scores for each dimension, current state compared to desired state helping you to take the first step towards filling those gaps.

What our clients say

“WorkMatters led a personal agility diagnostic and development programme for all our people leaders. This was critical in helping our people leaders understand their own agility strengths and development areas as well as how they could identify these skills in others and more effectively coach their teams in a fast moving and changing work environment”
Dorota Piotrowska, Head of People, Netguru, Poland
“Undergoing a team development programme with WorkMatters was a pivotal experience for us as a team. They helped us to challenge and rethink our ways of working in a very supportive way, providing us with a range of practices, skills and tools to create a more sustainable, future-fit, engaged and impactful team. ”
Lyndsey Perdisatt, HR Director, HPRA
“The WorkMatters Agile HR programme and coaching support was a real game changer for me and for us as a team. It puts language and distinct principles and tools around what previously had just been intuition and a sense that there must be a better way to ‘do HR’ and how HR can consistently add value to the organisation . If there is one programme you invest in this year, this is it!. ”
Kathryn Whyte, Chief People Officer, Enterprise Ireland
